Allergens


I maintain a high standard of cleanliness in my studio, use unscented detergent on my linens, & our home is cigarette smoke-free. However, we do share our house with two indoor cats & I work with essential oils & burn sage &/or incense in the studio space daily. Please take these factors into consideration if you are highly sensitive to scent, as we may not be a good fit.


Cancellations & Punctuality

I truly aim to create a customized healing experience for each guest & as such, preparation for our session begins well before our scheduled hour. As a self-employed person, I do protect my time with an cancellation fee. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give 24-hours notice so I may offer the time to another guest.  

No shows & same-day cancellations will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the booked service price.

 

A late arrival will require a shortened session at the booked service price. 15 or more minutes late will be rescheduled out of respect to the clients & commitments scheduled after, & the 50% fee will be charged.

Honoring this agreement is so appreciated as a small business owner, & respectful to both my time & other clients. Doing so allows me to continue offering the best personalized care in my home! ♥

 

 

Illness


However, please DO reschedule if you are ill, especially when contagious. This is for your well-being in addition to my own, & that of my other clients. Receiving massage while you are sick may exacerbate your condition. Contact me if you are unsure and we can discuss options.

Payment

I do not bill insurance. All payments are due at the time of service & I accept cash, check, & CashApp, or credit cards with a $2.50 fee (waived on e-gift cards). Gratuity is not expected, but if you wish to make an offering of appreciation it is always gratefully received ♥

Availability


I see clients Monday through Friday by appointment, with my first session at 9:00am & my last around 5:30pm. I also work occasional Saturdays as needed. Though each week varies, I'm able to accommodate most appointment requests within a week. 

 

To ensure availability after your initial session, I recommend that regular guests establish a schedule that works well for their needs & set up a standing appointment every 2 to 8 weeks (or the time frame that best fits their budget & wellness goals).

 

Waiting Area/Guests

My practice is designed to work one-on-one with focus on the individual, in my home studio. Therefore, I'm unable to schedule couples/groups or to provide a waiting area for additional guests/clients at this time. The Marysville Library, a park, & a walk-up coffee stand are within 15-minutes walking distance for caregivers or those with back-to-back appointments scheduled.
 

 

Scope of Practice

If a guest presents with a condition outside my scope of practice &/or unsafe for massage, I will refer them to a qualified professional and/or reschedule our session. I do not diagnose any condition as an LMT, but I always err on the side of caution when it comes to the well-being of my clients.


Confidentiality 

Washington state massage practitioners are HIPPA compliant & cannot discuss or release your information unless legally subpoenaed.
