Licensed Massage Therapist
I'm Brandi, nine-year massage therapist & self-taught maker! I like to make & grow things & have adventures with my beardy guy.
I approach bodywork with the heart & spirit of a healer. I listen; I work with you intuitively, enthusiastically, positively. I love what I do! My love of healing massage has been richly enhanced by past birth work, Reiki attunement, yoga, meditation practice, travel, voracious reading, whole food, & many artistic pursuits.
The Pacific Northwest stole my heart when I moved here in early 2008. It snowed the very next day & as I sat there soaking in the magic & the moss, I knew I was home. I graduated from Cortiva Institute's professional extended massage therapy program in 2009, have since offered massage in both clinical & luxury spa settings, & found the experience to be invaluable. Now I'm head-over-heels in love with my home-based practice, growing strong as a healer, & building a client-spiral full of amazing women.
In addition to massage, I serve as a harm reduction volunteer at music festivals & events throughout greater Seattle & Canada, a Master Gardener intern through WSU, & am taking mixed media art classes & (slowly) learning French. Petit a petit, l’oiseau fait son nid ! ♥
I'm grateful to have an in-home art studio in addition to the private massage space; a place for creative flow & reflection. My free time is spent reading, knitting, making jewelry & exploring mixed media - you'll find some of my artwork, jewelry & weavings available for purchase in the massage studio. (You can also visit my Etsy shop directly!) I enjoy gardening & being outdoors often when it's warm. Our home is made whole by an exotic Bengal & one good old-fashioned house cat.
I have such deep gratitude for all of the wonderful people I've connected with through massage. Thank YOU for allowing me to do work that fuels my creativity & fills my heart with joy!
“I'm interested in women's health because I'm a woman. I'd be a darn fool not to be on my own side.”
“I would like my life to be a statement of love and compassion -- and where it isn't, that's where my work lies.”
